Quest-to-Nome Booties

from 50.00

Booties are an essential part of long distance mushing. They’re used to protect our dogs pads while they’re traveling over rough terrain & abrasive snow. Because healthy feet are vital to a sled dogs performance, mushers keep a keen eye on our dogs’ paws. Booties are changed out routinely over a course of 1,000-miles—14 sets (56 booties) are changed out every 50-miles! By sponsoring a leg of the race, you supply the each team mate with a bundle of booties to protect their precious paws as they make their trek to the next checkpoint!

Included:
A worn bootie from the trail, signed by Matt Hall
